On Monday, October 15, two Colombians from the Bananeras De Uraba fair trade farm will be in Milwaukee as part of National Fair Trade Month: Jorge William Restrepo & Felipe Echeverri Zapata. We’re splitting them up for the four events below.
They will share with us the benefits fair trade has brought to their farm, and why you might consider socially responsible banana shopping. Mostly in English.
Jorge is a long-time union activist and Felipe is a son of the farm’s owner. All events are free and open to the public. This tour is sponsored by Fair Trade Towns USA.
